My name is Lateasha Rankin, I was born and raised in a small country town in Shallotte, North Carolina, which is located on the coast and borders the South Carolina state line. Ever since the 6th grade I have been an active reader for Urban Fiction novels. Poetry has been my main go-to to express my thoughts and emotions.

It wasn’t until my first year at North Carolina A&T State University where I discovered my passion to pursue writing novels. My first two books Married To A Dirty South Boss 1&2 is where I got my start as an upcoming author but now since being signed to Major Key Publishing, I am able to create and write storylines that define me as a author. I am currently writing a series that pertains to the LGBT community.
